New Hope is Now Hiring: Director of Worship Arts

The part-time or full-time Director of Worship Arts is responsible for leading the congregation in authentic, Spirit-led worship while overseeing all aspects of the church’s music and worship arts ministries. This role requires a heart for God, a deep love for God’s people, strong leadership skills, and a supportive, collaborative relationship with the Senior Pastor.

• Serve as chief support to the Senior Pastor in advancing the mission and vision of New Hope.
• Plan and lead weekly worship services and special services in alignment with the Senior Pastor’s preaching direction.
• Lead worship through choral directing, singing, and/or instrumental excellence, including keyboard or Hammond organ.
• Create a worship atmosphere that encourages congregational participation.
• Oversee the Worship and Arts Ministry, including musicians, choirs, praise dance, and other creative ministries.
• Work closely with sound and technical teams to prepare for Sunday worship and special events.
• Coordinate sound checks, service run-throughs, and worship preparation as needed.
• Lead, schedule, and develop musicians, choir members, vocalists, and worship team volunteers.
• Select music that is Christ-centered, theologically sound, musically excellent, and appropriate for the choir and worship service.
• Attend and lead weekly rehearsals. Current rehearsal schedule: musicians, Saturdays 1:00–2:00 PM; choir, Saturdays 2:00–3:30 PM.
• Sunday call time is 10:30 AM. Worship begins at 11:00 AM and typically ends around 12:30 PM.
